Credit card giant Visa has been eyeing a bigger move in the crypto space by soliciting applications recently.

Two days ago, licensed trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis revealed recent trademark applications for Visa.

This pointed towards the likelihood of the credit card company developing or launching its own digital asset wallet.

There have allegedly been two trademark filings. One includes trademark filings for cryptocurrency, virtual and digital transaction management and software; the other is for wallets.

This is according to records that were submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) earlier this week.
