Israel’s diplomatic mission in South Korea has introduced a diplomatic mission to the metaverse.

The virtual Israel complex includes meeting rooms as well as an exhibition on the history of relations between Israel and South Korea. Ultimately, it will expand to include cultural offerings such as Hebrew and Korean language study groups, Israeli film festivals and more, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said today in a press release.

“This is an initiative that illustrates Israeli innovation in a stage as important as South Korea,” said Israel’s ambassador to Seoul, Akiva Tor.

Israel has an app for its South Korean metaverse that launched last month.
