Xbox boss Phil Spencer isn’t impressed by the metaverse as it currently stands.

Spencer is on WSJ Live answering questions and was asked about her thoughts on the metaverse. As reported by Tom Warren of The Verge, Spencer criticized the version of the metaverse that currently exists.

“Today it’s a poorly built video game. Now I want to spend my time building a metaverse that’s like a living room.” However, Spencer adds that it’s early days and “this will evolve.”
