Metaverse’s Decentraland was reported to have only 38 active users at one point last week

It seems that the Metaverse is in trouble. According to data aggregator DappRadar (via The Byte), the Metaverse Decentraland project had only 38 “active users” for 24 hours. For those who don’t know, Decentraland is a “sandbox environment” that allows people to shop and purchase virtual real estate.
This is a disappointingly low number for the Metaverse project. The Byte notes that the company has a market capitalization of $1.2 billion. These low numbers mean that everything is running at a loss, and the entire investment is shaping up to be a huge flop.
