Taipei, Oct 15 (CNA) Taiwan-based consumer electronics company HTC Corp. said it will partner with telecom operator e& in the United Arab Emirates to explore business opportunities in the metaverse.

In a statement released earlier this week, HTC said it had signed an agreement with e&, formerly known as Etisalat Group, in a long-term partnership that will bring together HTC’s Vivese technologies and e& Universe solutions.

The agreement was signed at GITEX Global 2022, an annual technology exhibition in Dubai, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, which was held from October 10 to 14 this year, according to HTC.
