A new report from DappRadar shows that the blockchain and metaverse gaming industry continues to thrive even as the broader crypto markets remain in the red.

According to the data acquisition and analytics firm, Web3 games and metaverse projects raised $1.3 billion in the third quarter of the year, compared to $3.1 billion the crypto segment received in the second quarter.

The report says that September brought in just $156 million, the fewest ever raised by Web3 games and metaverse-related projects all year, but total investments for the year already exceeded $4 billion of generated capital in 2021.
