iHeart is already there, building new spaces for participation

I don’t do well on roller coasters. But when I was presented with a “virtual” ride in the metaverse, I thought that a roller coaster that existed only in my mind couldn’t hurt me. Wrong!
I felt so bad I had to take a Dramamine. When designed correctly, the metaverse can really convince your brain that you’re having a real experience. Powerful stuff, indeed.
Whether we like it or not, various forms of the metaverse are already here. And like any other new consumer-focused platform, radio needs to find a way to become part of the landscape and know whether or not there is a place for us there.
