Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ) is set to enter the metaverse with the launch of METADAFZ at Gitex Global 2022, taking place from October 10-14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The initiative aims to attract foreign direct investment and companies to the free zone by showcasing DAFZ’s offerings, products and solutions.

METADAFZ will enable clients around the world to hold meetings via a virtual platform, offering a “unique and semi-realistic” experience, regardless of physical location, according to the Dubai Media Office.

The innovative initiative offers an alternative to the traditional way of doing business and allows company representatives to discuss future job prospects and how to launch businesses and projects in Dubai.
