Türkiye is experiencing a “metaverse winter” as the excitement of buying land in the metaverse has worn off, experts say.

“Those who saw the metaverse as an investment tool and were hit by the rapid market depreciation lost faith in it,” said Levent Eraslan, director of the Center for Digital Security and Social Media Research (SODİMER).
