RIYADH: Companies have submitted offers for the technical and economic consulting contract for the development of wind energy projects in Oman, MEED reported.
Oman Power & Water Procurement Co. originally submitted the contract in July and received bids on September 27.
The company announced that the contractor will be selected in early October.
The scope of work includes two stages: the completion of feasibility studies, followed by the provision of technical consulting services.
This project aims to diversify fuel sources for power generation in Oman.
