Major tech companies are eyeing the potential of the metaverse, which has become a buzzword in the marketplace. But the CEO of Apple tim cook has a different opinion about it.

In a recent interview with a Dutch media outlet, Cook said the term “metaverse” is unclear to most people.

“I always think it’s important for people to understand what something is. And I’m not sure the average person can tell you what the metaverse is,” Cook told the outlet.

Speaking of virtual reality, he said it’s good, but it’s not a way to “live your whole life.”
