Apple CEO Tim Cook has been touring Europe this week and has had interviews with various media outlets. Augmented reality has been a recurring theme in Cook’s discussions, and it’s a topic he brought up again in an interview with the Dutch publication. Sparklywhich is part of RTL News.
“I think AR is a deep technology that will affect everything,” Cook said, echoing Italy’s comments earlier in the week. “Like I said, we’re really going to look back and think about how we once lived without AR.”
Cook went on to say that “it won’t be that long” before we live in a world where we wonder how we ever got by without augmented reality. Cook said virtual reality also has its uses because of how immersive it is, but it’s not a replacement for real life.
