Online dating platform Dating.com has announced that it will enter the metaverse through a new partnership with leading metaverse platform ‘Decentraland’.

The new digital-only dating space will allow Decentralnd users to communicate and connect with other Dating.com members while in-game. According to the company, the new metadata product will allow more people to meet each other due to Decentraland’s international reach. Not only this, but they will be able to do it in an environment free from superficial judgments.

“It’s the perfect time to launch metadata products … where people can interact and transact like they do in the real world,” KJ Dhaliwal, Dating Group’s chief strategy officer, said in an interview with Drum.
