Although the hype around the buzzword seems to have died down a bit, it’s hard to deny that the metaverse or something similar will eventually become our reality. The fusion of the physical and the digital is something that will eventually happen, pending the development of the hardware and the mentality of the people. Most of the rhetoric around the metaverse involves locating ourselves in the digital realm through avatars. However, it can also involve placing digital assets in our physical spaces. That might be possible with holograms of the future, but until then, this fancy home projector system could bridge the gap by transporting bits of the metaverse into your living room or bedroom.
